The five-member committee, led by Chairman Jeff Crosby, discussed acquiring a parcel behind the Crosby Lot off Route 77 but found its isolation by wetland and lack of direct logging access made the investment questionable; members reached consensus the property's constraints would prevent environmental damage regardless of ownership.
