NH DUNBARTON — Dunbarton selectmen revise personnel policies in workshop session. Board Chair Michael Kaminski, Vice-Chair Dana Lavoie, and Selectman Charles Frost updated multiple policy sections, including removing a six-month sick-leave waiting period, changing personal-day awards to personal-time hours (20 hours), and crediting rehired employees for past service. Fire Chief Brandon Skoglund noted that the prior personal-day structure shortchanged officers on 10- and 12-hour shifts.

Board Chair Kaminski advocated for a merit-based advancement system to replace the current two-year step system. The Board tabled discussion of life insurance benefits pending additional information on HealthTrust offerings for part-time employees.
