Selectmen approve two hires; police honor 50 years of service combined.

NH DUNBARTON — Dunbarton selectmen approve three municipal hires and honor police longevity. Board Chair Michael Kaminski and Vice-Chair Dana Lavoie voted unanimously to hire Kellen Field as a part-time transfer station attendant at Step 1; Alyssa Soucy as Field Officer Patrolman at $34.32 per hour with two weeks vacation accrual for 2026; and Brian Pike as Transfer Station Assistant at CDL Step VI rate of $25.59 per hour. Police Chief Christopher Remillard presented service awards to three officers: Sergeant Brian Tyler for 10 years, Officer Joseph Milioto for 35 years, and Officer Thomas "Cody" Tompkins for 5 years.
The Board approved Old Home Day Committee plans to add a fireworks display for the nation's 250th birthday celebration, with Fire Chief Brandon Skoglund confirming department support.
