Selectmen approve 2026 warrant articles with modest tax increases

NH DUNBARTON — Dunbarton selectmen finalize 2026 warrant with modest capital spending. The Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to approve warrant articles including $140,000 in capital reserve fund contributions and a $92,500 transfer station equipment purchase, producing a combined tax rate impact of 0.18 per $1,000 of assessed valuation. Town Administrator Line Comeau presented a $3,583,308 operating budget and $1,309,500 in projected revenues, with the board allocating $660,929 to reduce taxation and placing $50,000 into reserves.

A public hearing is scheduled for February 5 at 7:15 p.m.
