The panel, chaired by Library Director Mary Girard, reviewed first aid kit inventory, exterior lighting failures, and security camera needs across town departments. Police have installed their cameras; Town Office installations remain on hold due to budget constraints, pending a written policy on camera access.
Fire Chief Brandon Skoglund reported acquisition of new CPR mannequins and automated external defibrillators, with two additional trainers hired and a pilot public session underway at School Street Café. The committee directed Town Administrator Line Comeau to follow up with the Select Board on a proposed speed bump west of the Selectmen's Office entrance to address Route 13 traffic.
