NH DUNBARTON — Dunbarton Selectmen back $4M budget with slight municipal tax relief. Chair Dave Nault and Selectmen Michael Kaminski and Dana Lavoie unanimously recommended the $4,044,236 operating budget and all nine warrant articles, including $1,970,429 drawn from unassigned fund balance and $215,000 in capital reserve additions across six departments. The 2026 municipal tax rate is projected at $2.77 per thousand, down $0.39 from 2025's $3.16, though residents questioned salary adjustments and department-specific increases, particularly a 5 percent raise for the Town Administrator and a $137,697 Police Department budget increase tied to adding a sixth full-time officer.
