Dunbarton library trustees accept December minutes, approve amended circulation policy.

NH DUNBARTON — Dunbarton library trustees unanimously approve amended circulation policy to comply with HB 273. The updated policy, effective January 1, 2026, requires library card applications for minors to highlight parental responsibility for which books children check out. Library Director Mary Girard reported the 2026 budget was submitted to the Selectmen and will be taken up at the March Town Meeting; the library has approximately $101 remaining in its current budget.
The board voted unanimously to present a conditional job offer to a part-time library assistant applicant pending background check results. A $250 donation was received.
