Dunbarton Historical Awareness Committee approves 2025 annual report.

NH DUNBARTON — The Dunbarton Historical Awareness Committee unanimously approved the 2025 annual report and moved forward with sign replacements for town-owned structures. Chair Donna Dunn reported that an email from the Dunbarton Elementary School Principal proposed a collaboration on the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, with a May timeframe targeted; the committee discussed the town's significant Revolutionary War history, including figures Caleb Stark and Scipio Page, and noted that the New Boston Artillery Company has previously demonstrated the Molly Stark Cannon in town. Dunn will contact the principal to coordinate a meeting, and the committee established a 2026 priority list focused on finishing existing projects, with the Scipio Page book in the lead, though the Revolutionary War initiative may take precedence.
The committee also approved the David Perkins House video title "Farewell to The David Perkins Home circa 1820" and authorized the Waite Schoolhouse Sign order.
