NH DUNBARTON — Dunbarton Cemetery Trustees make progress on multiple fronts. The board unanimously approved $12,000 for Phase 2 of the East Cemetery erosion project, their top maintenance priority, with work expected after Labor Day. Trustees Justin Nault, Mike Lessard, and Judy Keefe reported that Custom Care has completed two monument-base applications and is addressing exposure issues.
The cemetery was selected as New Hampshire's sole site for the 48 State Tour preservation workshop in June, where volunteers repaired two historic stones under Atlas Preservation's Jonathan Appell. In a third consecutive year, sixth-grade students participated in a June 11 Give Back Day learning headstone preservation. Drone imaging continues to be integrated into the CIMS database.
